Hi, my name is Susan Rodriguez and I live in Southern California. By day I work as a Business Technology Consultant/Programmer Analyst at UCLA, by night I am a crazed scrapbooker, marathon runner, web site designer, etc. I tend to love my night life a bit more since that is when I let my hair down and get a bit crazy. This is when I am no longer known as Susan but as bucket. Bucket is a silly nickname my boyfriend, Mark, gave me when we first met 10 years ago. All my friends call me bucket; you can call me bucket too. :-)
I started scrapbooking in January of 1997. A mother in my oldest son’s 1st grade class passed out flyers for a Creative Memories party. Since I wanted to get to know more mothers in his class I decided to attend this party and see what scrapbooking was all about. This was the beginning of my scrapbooking obsession.
I love both paper and digital scrapbooking; combining both elements can be so much fun. There are days where all I do is search the internet for free frames, actions, you name it I want it. I love downloading PS Brushes and just adding that special touch to my photos. I’m not the best picture taker so whatever I can do to enhance my photos I’ll do it. I’ve been playing with PhotoShop now for about 3 years or so. I not only play with it at home but I also use it at work. Having the ability to use it daily has really enhanced my skills and everyday I find something new to do.
